The Goon I've had this on vinyl for a while but recently got a digital copy to rock on the go. Forensics has a lot of good music, but each album has its own sound and feel, some very different from others. Even though it only has four songs, this is my favorite. Has a little Hot Water Music vibe. On a related note, I want to give props to Magic Bullet, from whom I get a lot of great music. The label, Brent Eyestone and the bands he's a part of or promotes are definitely worth checking out.

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
